Edinburgh is a city best explored on foot.

Vehicles have limited access to the narrow winding streets of the Old Town where the majority of Edinburgh’s highlights are located, and to the New Town, home to Edinburgh’s principal shopping streets. Tours with a driver guide are therefore not possible within the city centre. We can provide a driver on a half day or full day basis to support you on your exploration of the city, and we can also arrange the services of a fully qualified Blue Badge Guide who can lead you on an in-depth walking tour.

Typically a tour of Edinburgh will include Edinburgh Castle, a walking tour of the Old Town (Royal Mile, Grassmarket, George IV Bridge), and will continue down to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Calton Hill can also be included which offers views across the city and over to the Kingdom of Fife on a clear day.
